This book is the main outcome of the research project entitled “La politica imperiale romana: spazi, genti, lingue e culture”, which was carried out by the Editors (Franco Luciani ad a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Elvira Migliario as Principal Investigator) in the academic year 2015-16 at the University of Trento and received funding from Dipartimento di Lettere e Filosofia (Department of Humanities) and the Fondo Gavezzotti.
