March 12, 2017 will remain a historic day in the life of the Fondazione Palazzo Albizzini Burri Collection. It marks indeed the date of the opening of the Third Burri Museum dedicated to the display of the entire graphic work of the Master. After the conclusion of the restoration works and the creation of the museum in the former tobacco drying warehouse, the complex has been enriched with new exhibition spaces, multimedia spaces, educational rooms, a large bookshop and reception services. Since 12 March 2017, these spaces permanently host the entire graphic work of the Master. “Even in graphic Burri has tried to overcome technical challenges and to push the boundaries both of the tools and of the materials used, with extraordinarily interesting outcomes, such as the displayed works show”.
