Through protected access, each publisher or author can file their own news online, immediately publish them on Liberdomus and send them to over 15,000 Liberdomus users (bookstores, libraries, scholars, private users) via a personalized Newsletter in based on the specific interests and specializations of users. This system will therefore allow the publisher to publish and disseminate through Liberdomus all the titles of its catalog including also the novelties of imminent publication in a simple and immediate way. It is important to underline how all the files inserted in Liberdomus will also flow into a paper catalog sent regularly to all the bookshops served and in possession of our free management software “LiberDeskTOP”. This software allows the bookseller to receive monthly registry updates on the novelties we distribute and also to place orders, complaints, queries and print cards simply and without risk of error.
Then there are a whole series of additional promotional services including the publication of all the news also on the “Abebooks” portal, as well as the creation and sending of news sheets in PDF format, the “Withdraw-to-bookstore” service etc. which further expand the opportunities for promotion and sales.

The aforementioned services are available to all publishers or authors after registering with Liberdomus by clicking on the “LBSOnline” box in the “Services for bookshops/publishers/libraries” section. Please note that completing and sending the request is not binding and only after signing the promotion and distribution contract will the services be activated and the passwords for accessing LBSOnline sent for filing and sending the titles to all users Liberdomus.

To publish the news, the publisher will access a reserved area (access via password) where he can personally enter the profile of each book published or soon to be published, as well as all the other titles still available. Liberdomus, which will receive notification of the file inserted, will carry out a check on the correct filing and on the contents of the same before publishing it on the Internet. It is important that the publisher promptly updates any change in the “status” of each title (out of stock, in reprint…) so that it is visible in the Liberdomus catalog and in the Liberdesktop programs (management software for bookstores distributed throughout Italy). In the event of failure to update the data with particular reference to the cover price, it should be noted that the reference prices for the sale will be those published on Liberdomus. In the event of technical difficulties, it will be possible to request free intervention from Liberdomus sas to make changes to the catalogue.

Each registered publisher may request to publish, in addition to the datasheets of their books,

5 Events a year in the “Book presentations” section through which you can communicate, advertise and invite all Liberdomus users on the occasion of a book presentation. The service is particularly effective as it allows you to reach specific categories of users interested in the subject matter of the book being presented in a targeted way.

Furthermore, upon his request, it is possible to insert 5 titles per year in a privileged position in the Internet sections divided by 2nd level topic. This means that each reader who chooses to consult the section divided by subject of the Liberdomus catalog will find his proposals in a privileged position on the front page. This system used by the largest commercial portals guides the customer in his choices and can certainly lead to greater sales of the books placed in the “foreground”.

This term identifies a data transmission standard widely used in libraries throughout the world.

The Liberdomus database, using this data saving system, allows libraries and their employees to import the data of the books purchased, considerably reducing the library’s acquisition and filing work.

In order for the use of Liberdomus cards to be possible in libraries, the cards must correspond to the strict rules of filing in UNIMarc format which is possible thanks to the careful control of our staff on the cards sent to us by the publishers. The correspondence of our cards to this format allows the Liberdomus Catalog to be interrogated by OPAC librarians and therefore by all students. This level of quality has also been recognized by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities who have included our catalog among the catalogs that can be consulted.

By filing their books, the registered publisher will be able to immediately publish on the Internet their entire production, complete with information on the availability of titles, updated prices and bibliographic data. Thus making available to the reader a liberdomusâ electronic commerce platform with shopping cart and extensive search and sorting functions for the titles found, and at the same time updating our Liberdesktop management systems installed in all registered Italian bookshops thus allowing users in the sector to always know the situation of the availability of titles and prices, and saving all the parties involved the work necessary for the acquisition of the information.

All online promotion services are carried out by Liberdomus & C. sas while those for sale are carried out by LIBRERIA GIA NARDECCHIA SRL. The Publisher interested in Liberdomus services will be contacted to define the conditions. Details relating to the distribution contract will be defined on a case-by-case basis, for information purposes only we inform you that it can take place via:

DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS ADOPTED

1.Distribution with inventory:
Distribution to Liberdomus users regardless of zone without exclusivity. The sale of ordered books is done by drawing on a minimum stock set up at our. warehouse that the Publisher will have supplied on c/deposit at a 50% discount.

2.Distribution without inventory:
Distribution to Liberdomus users regardless of zone without exclusivity. Requests for books received by Liberdomus will be grouped on a weekly basis and sorted by the publisher who will send Liberdomus the quantities requested in absolute value with relative invoice and 45% discount.

3. Membership through distributor:
Promotion and sale of Liberdomus by publishers distributed with one of the following companies: Erre Libri, RDE, Medialibri and CDA-Roma. In this case Liberdomus will procure the books directly from the local distributor with whom we already have an agreement.
